Today the next door neighbour tried to sell me a beach umbrella.

Today the next door neighbour tried to sell me a beach umbrella.
'I don't like the beach,' I told her, 'my skin is fair and I burn and the beach is windy and I don't like sand,'
'I like going in my bikini with my daughter,' she said, standing there demonstrating how the giant beach umbrella worked.
Then I asked her how much she wanted for the beach umbrella.
She told me 15 dollars.
'Everyone gives me things,' she said, 'so if you think you need anything for your house, you let me know.'

And then thinking she probably really needed 15 dollars, I almost bought the umbrella that I didn't want.

But I didn't.
Instead I asked her if she might like to teach me Spanish and that I would pay her.
'Yeh,' she said, 'from now on every time I see you I will speak to you in Spanish,'
I told her okay.
And just then her daughter rode up on her bicycle and stopped in front of the house.
'Hola,' she said, smiling at me.
'Hola to you too.' I said smiling back at her.

*I did this drawing today.
It's USA letter size, because they don't do A4 here.
It's about blowing a horn, blowing your own horn, or being encouraged to blow your own horn.
