Ways of coping living in a tiny town where no one ever/rarely buys/looks at your paintings/drawings.
2. As suggested by my friend Catherine, I have 3 projects on the go, a manageable amount.
I make Life with Patty once a day, every day.
I’m working on my book of death anxiety.
And I sit at the easel.

I’m relieved I don’t have a child, as it’d probably count as a project.

Today’s good thing (so far) was waking up to see Black, my cat, on the window sill.
She followed me into the bathroom and I sat on the toilet and she sat on the floor and I gave her head a little rub.
That’s the agreeable thing about cats.
Sofas, toilets-they couldn’t give a fuck where you’re sat as long as they’re getting a rub.
