Today I had to deal with a property management company who have let my rental property to fall into such disrepair that it is uninhabitable.
I phoned the company representative and shouted.
I shouted from frustration because the insurance company have decided that they will not pay out for any of the damage done on the property.
The damage was done by a tenant that the property management company found, but for whom they got no references.
What a foul experience I have had with these people.
And what a foul person I become when dealing with them.
To scrub myself clean of any traces of them, I listened to Sir Ken Robinson on creativity and education.
I’ve included 2 lines from his talk in this drawing.
'Go to a place you never want to leave', which was in reference to finding yourself in your element, doing the thing you have the most aptitude for doing.
And the next line is ‘What’s stopping you?’ which came much later in the talk.
They go well together, don’t you think?
