Portrait of a Young Woman as La Giaconda (holding a can of Le Busque’s Vagina Soup)
I’m having a go at doing some ‘pop art’.
This is a portrait of my friend, Lauren Ottley.
I’ve posed her up as Mona.
There’s nothing secretive about Lauren’s smile, though.
It’s a proper big fat all encompassing teeth-bearing happy sign to the world!
She’s got a smile to rival that of Amy Waters.

Today’s good thing (NOT) was lining up in the 99p shop for three rolls of Barbie wrapping paper for Amy Waters to wrap her friend’s Christmas present.
Actually, I got a cheap box of Uncle Toby’s Oats for Max’s breakfast tomorrow morning.
So all in all, it wasn’t thaaaaat bad.
Then I wrote Amy Waters' artist statement for her.
Because she is my friend…though you wouldn’t know it by the way she throws pens and erasers and insults at me.
