Today’s good thing was a long skype chat with my friend, Neenie Kerr.
We went to school together, when she was unmarried, and still called Janine Duff.
She is a teacher of dance, and a hugely successful one.
She is devoted to her students and helps get them in to very good performing arts schools after High School.
She is quite a marvel, though of course she doesn’t believe it.

Today she told me she was proud of me and the work I produce.
It was uncomfortable to hear, but ultimately I accepted it.
And I feel exactly the same way about her.

She is, however, completely hopeless on a computer, and the above screen grab of my skype chat with her backs that statement up.

I’ve improvised a studio in my mother’s house.
It’s handy to have my mother’s wheel chair to whizz back and forward from my drawing to see how it’s coming along.
I think next up, I will clear a track between the wall, where I work, and the computer desk on the other side of the kitchen so I can upload to my blog without having to raise my arse from the chair.

Today’s good thing was a visit from Lisa and Janine.
I have known them for a long time, school days, and we laugh a lot when we’re together.
Janine is a dance teacher and Lisa does something or other with horses.
I’d add a photo of us here in our school uniforms, just for LOLs, but I think Janine would sue me or hurt me physically or both.
