Gnome and Cat

Yesterday, while I was at the health food store waiting in the car for my cousin, I watched a man walk past the ute in front of me, pause and then walk back to the ute where he stood staring through the window as if not too sure whether it was his car or not.

Then, as if he'd had a revelation, he nodded his head, opened the driver's side door, got in and closed the door.

And then, a few moments later he got out of the ute, took off his shoes, placed them into the back of the ute, and walked into the health food store in his socks.
