Today’s good thing was….nothing.
Today was, as David Ashbourne wrote on Facebook, a cunt of a day.My mood was shitty.
I got shitty emails from people I didn’t want to hear from.
I had to go to the doctors to have a worrying section of skin examined.
I felt like vomiting.
I got my period.
Eventually I fell asleep on the sofa in my studio. Finally, when I woke up, I decided it’s probably time to make another life somewhere else.
The reason I am here is no longer a valid reason.
It’s been demoted to a possibility.
And a far off one, at that.
So I went down to the Co op and bought a courgette and a little bag of mozzarella cheese so I could make myself an omelette from the eggs Dawn brought for me from her farm.
While I was choosing the courgette, I was thinking about a pasta I once at that a friend had cooked in Italy.
She had fried the courgette, or zucchini as it is known there, in garlic and olive oil and it had come out sweet and…garlicky.
I want those exact same zucchinis in my omelette.Everything else can go and get right royally fucked in the arse!
