Today’s good thing was a visit from Emily, Sam’s sister.
I saw her as I was coming up the stairs and she was going down.
She had one of my prints in her hand.
'Come back upstairs,' I said, 'and I'll give you a tube for that,'
So she did.
We talked a bit about Sam while I rolled her print and put it in the tube.
Then she asked me if I would be interested in doing a cover for a CD they had just recorded.
I told her yes, that I would love to, and that I had done a couple already.
Her band, which I can never remember the name of, is playing at Fat Lil’s this Sunday.
I think I’ll go.
