of my parents'

life

I’m making an illustrated version of the life of my parents.
I’m drawing only the things I remember them telling me.
Such as that my grandfather wanted 5 quid from my father toward my mother’s wedding dress.

And that my father loved the apple pies that my grandmother, Gert, as he called her, liked to make for him.

It’s too late now, but I’d like to know, or remember, whether my father liked my grandfather.
