Ways of coping living in a tiny town where no one ever/rarely buys/looks at your paintings/drawings.
3. Have a plan to, occasionally, get out of Dodge. For example, I’ve applied for a residency at the Art Vault in the city I grew up in, Mildura, Australia.
This goal kills many birds with many stones.
Would be good for my CV.
Would get to see my old school friends who still live there.
Would be good to get involved in some local art projects.
Would be good to NOT spend January and February in England.
Would be good to produce some work based on growing up in my home town, possibly slaying some dragons.
Would be good to go back and gloat about what a fucking HUGE international fucking success I have become.

Today’s good thing was the completion of ‘A book of death anxiety; illustrated.’
(see pictures in this post and next)
I’ve overlaid the stamped quotes with baking paper to keep the ink off the drawings.
Actually, there was another good thing, which involved Amy, Lisa and a fly.
But that can wait until tomorrow.
